Over the past 30+ years Michael, a proven CEO/CFO with numerous operational successes, has run, grown, acquired and revitalized several private equity backed service and technology businesses and has led four of these companies through successful exits. He is a native New Yorker, who relocated to Michigan in the late 1990s where he has raised his two children. Michael is schooled in accounting and finance (University of Pennsylvania – Wharton School and MBA from Columbia University) - with all of his tech learned through osmosis from many smart associates.

Edan King

Edan King is a Founder and Co-Chief Executive Officer of Credibly. Edan has been working in the funding sector for almost 30 years and brings that experience to Credibly. Previously, Edan was Chairman & co-founder of Franklin Security Bank, and before that, Co-CEO & co-founder of Franklin Mortgage Funding, a wholesale mortgage lender with $2B in annual volume. Prior to co-founding Franklin Mortgage he was President and CEO of ASGI Corp, a subsidiary of ASTA Funding, a specialty consumer’s receivables company. Edan began his career at King & King P.C., a real estate law firm.

Edan received a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Michigan and his J.D. from Wayne State University Law School.

Susan Gordon

Founding Mentor

 

As the Managing Director of Advisory Services for Mission Throttle, Susan oversees all aspects  client engagements. Over the past 20 years, Susan has had an extensive career working with several leading international consulting firms and Fortune 500 companies. She has worked extensively with companies experiencing pervasive change, providing financial restructuring and turnaround advisory services along with capital advisory and merger and acquisition assistance. Her clients ranged from manufacturing-based middle market companies, to public conglomerates and financial services firms.

Susan is active in numerous community, philanthropic and professional organizations, including parent leadership at Cranbrook Schools, Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Detroit, and Friendship Circle. Susan serves on the boards of Detroit Public Theatre, Venture Michigan and Build Institute. She is a frequent lecturer at professional forums, and a former Adjunct Finance Professor at Walsh College.

Susan earned her BA from the University of Michigan and her MBA from the Eli Broad Graduate School of Management at Michigan State University. 

Larry Freed

Founding Mentor

 

Larry serves as the Chief Executive Officer and Managing Partner of 2nd Stage Partners. Formally, he was the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of ForeSee Results and was responsible for managing the company's strategy, growth and successful sale. Larry has more than 30 years of experience in senior management and in directing e-commerce and technology initiatives. Previously, he held several senior executive positions at Compuware Corporation, leading a variety of e-commerce and professional services programs. Before joining Compuware, Larry held various positions including Chief Technology Officer at Bank One (formerly First Chicago NBD and NBD Bank). Larry serves as a Director of the Ann Arbor IT Zone. He graduated from The University of Michigan with a B.S. in Computer Science and received an M.B.A. from Wayne State University.
